Managing Daily Email Quota Limits in Mergo Campaigns
How to Prevent Exceeding Daily Email Quota Limits in Mergo Campaigns
Mergo campaigns are designed to send out as many emails as possible within your account's limits. However, if you're concerned about exceeding these limits and receiving over-limit notices from Google's mailer daemon, you can take control of your campaign's sending behavior.
Understanding Daily Quota Limits: Google allows a certain number of emails to be sent per day depending on your account type. For Gmail.com accounts, the limit is 500 emails per day, while Google Workspace accounts have a limit of 2000 emails per day. Once you reach this limit, you may receive notifications that you've hit a sending cap.
How Mergo Handles Over-Limit Notifications: Mergo will automatically retry sending emails the next day to recipients who haven't received them yet. This means that your campaign will continue without manual intervention, but you won't be able to send additional emails from your Google account for the rest of the day.
Scheduling Emails to Manage Quota: To avoid hitting your daily limit and ensure you can use your email account for other purposes, you can schedule your emails in Mergo. By assigning specific sending dates to each row in your spreadsheet, you can spread out your campaign over several days. For instance, you could set the first 400 rows to send today, the next 400 for tomorrow, and so on. This approach helps you stay within Google's daily sending limits.

Understanding 'Message Blocked' Notices: If you receive a 'message blocked' notice, it may indicate that the email was identified as spam or suspicious by the recipient's email server. It's important to review your email content and ensure it complies with anti-spam guidelines.
By following these best practices, you can manage your email campaigns more effectively and avoid disruptions in your email communication.
