How to Stop an Active Campaign

To stop an active campaign, please follow these steps:

Standard Campaign

  1. Reopen Mergo in the Google Sheets file linked to your campaign.
  2. In the Mergo UI, you can track the progress of your campaign, including the number of emails already sent and those yet to be sent.
  3. You will see two buttons: one to pause the campaign (if you intend to resume it later) and another to stop/abort the campaign.

Scheduled Campaign

If you have set up a scheduled campaign, the pause/abort buttons might not be visible because Mergo is not currently sending emails but has planned to send more emails, depending on a date or when new rows are populated in the spreadsheet. In such a case, you will see details of the scheduled campaign in the Mergo UI, with two buttons to "update" the scheduled campaign settings or to "cancel" the scheduled campaign.

If you move your Google Sheets to Google Drive's trash, the campaign will continue to run. It will stop if you empty the trash and permanently delete that Google Sheets, but using the abort button in Mergo UI is the preferred option.
