Troubleshooting: How to Ensure the Correct 'From' Address is Used in Mergo Campaigns

If you're encountering issues where the wrong 'from' address is used in your Mergo email campaigns, despite setting up an alias in Gmail as the default address, the problem may be linked to the Gmail draft you've selected for your campaign.

When a Gmail draft is created with a 'from' address that differs from your default one, that address will be the one used for your email campaign.

To resolve this, you can either create a new Gmail draft or modify the existing draft to ensure the correct 'from' address is selected.

Here's how to change the 'from' address in your Gmail draft:

  1. Open Gmail and go to the 'Drafts' folder.
  2. Click to open the draft you intend to use for your Mergo campaign.
  3. In the draft, click on the 'From' field (you might need to click the recipients field to see this).
  4. Select the correct 'from' address from the list of available addresses.

After updating the draft with the correct 'from' address, use this updated draft for your Mergo campaign. This should ensure that your emails are sent from the desired address.

If you are not seeing the email address you want to use in the "from" field of your Gmail draft, it means you have not yet added that address as an alias in Gmail, and thus, you cannot use it with Mergo yet.

Follow these steps to set up that address:

Send Emails from a Different Address or Alias and Change Reply-To Address
