Using Mergo with Microsoft Outlook
Can I use Mergo in Outlook?
Currently, Mergo is designed specifically for use with Gmail, as it relies on the Gmail API and is a Google Workspace add-on. Therefore, it cannot be used directly within Microsoft Outlook.
Workaround for Microsoft Email Users
If you have a Microsoft email and want to use Mergo, you can add your Microsoft email as an alias in Gmail. Here’s how to set this up:
- In Gmail, click on the top-right gear icon, and select See all settings.
- Go to the Accounts and Import tab and click on Add another email address under Send mail as.
- Enter your Microsoft email address, check Treat as an alias, and proceed to the next steps for verification.
- Google will send a verification code to your Microsoft email. Follow the instructions to verify the ownership of your email address.
Once your Microsoft email is set up as an alias in Gmail, you can use Mergo to send emails from this address. For detailed instructions on using aliases in Mergo, please refer to our help article Set Aliases and Reply-To.
