How to Send a Large Volume of Emails with Mergo
If you need to send a single mailout to a large number of subscribers, such as 6100, you have two main options to consider due to the daily email sending limits imposed by Google:
- Send over multiple days: Enter all your recipients into your spreadsheet and initiate your email campaign with Mergo. Once you reach your daily sending limit, Mergo will pause sending additional emails and automatically continue the next day when your quota resets. For example, with a gmail.com account, sending to 6100 subscribers would take approximately 13 days (500 emails per day).
- Send using multiple Google accounts: Divide your recipient list into smaller groups and use different Google accounts to send to each group. If you want all emails to appear from the same address, configure your primary email as an alias on the other accounts. You'll need a separate Mergo license for each account. For instance, to send 6100 emails in one day, you would need 13 different gmail.com accounts.
Remember that the daily limits are 500 emails for gmail.com accounts and 2000 for Google Workspace accounts. These limits are set by Google and cannot be exceeded.
