Can I Use Different Draft Emails for Different Google Form Responses in Mergo?

Currently, it's not possible to automatically use different Gmail drafts for different responses from the same Google Form when sending emails with Mergo. When setting up Mergo for form submission notifications, only one Gmail draft can be selected as the email template.

However, there's a workaround that might suit your needs, especially if immediate email notifications are not crucial. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Collect several form responses in your spreadsheet.
  2. Filter your spreadsheet to show only specific responses to a form question (e.g., all "yes" responses to "Are you attending this event?").
  3. Open Mergo and select the appropriate Gmail draft for the filtered responses. Mergo will send emails only to the displayed contacts, ignoring others (see Segment your contact list to email specific recipients).
  4. After emailing the first group, adjust your filters for a different set of responses (e.g., all "no" responses to the attendance question) and repeat the process with a different Gmail draft.

This method allows you to segment your contact list and send tailored emails based on form responses, albeit manually and not immediately after form submission.
